In the summer, many areas often have thunderstorms, and the operation of concrete batching plants will be affected to a certain extent. Safety protection tests must be done in place. The following are some measures for thunderstorm protection:

(1)Install a lightning rod on the main body of the concrete batching plant and the top of the cement silo. A set of concrete batching equipment, the highest place is forty or fifty meters, and the production site is mostly in an open place. Once the thunderstorm is formed, it may cause damage to the main body of the equipment, especially the top of the concrete batching plant and the top of the cement silo, this is a very dangerous situation. It is also skillful to install the lightning rod at the same time,because it is necessary to ensure that the top of the concrete batching equipment has an insulating layer to ensure the insulation of the lightning rod and the main body of the equipment, otherwise it also will cause damage to the equipment.

(2)Cover the concrete batching plant with a layer of sunscreen net. The sunscreen net not only protect from sun, but also has the effect of dust and rain, reduce the possibility of rainwater seeping into the machine, and has the function of anti-static and lightning strikes.

(3)In case of thunderstorm, the equipment operator should try not to work outside, and the indoor power and gas should be cut off to ensure zero power on.

(4)After the thunderstorm weather, you should thoroughly check the condition of the concrete batching plant before starting, and eliminate all safety hazards before running.

In the long-term operation of the mobile concrete batching plant, various equipment failures and mechanical problems will inevitably occur. The relevant management personnel should strengthen the regular inspection and maintenance of the concrete batching plant to ensure its stability state to the greatest extent. Avoid equipment failures and ensure safe and stable operation of concrete batching plants.
