When the concrete batching plant is running in summer, when the average temperature of day and night is higher than 30 °C, the following requirements should be made for raw materials and transportation equipment:

1.The cement, sand and stone storage bins and stacking yards of the concrete batching plant are shaded and protected from sun, and the the sand and stone piles are sprayed with water to cool down, so as to reduce the temperature of the raw materials entering the concrete mixer.

2.Use a cooling device to cool the mixing water, and the water pipes and tanks are shaded and insulated. At the same time,add some crushed ice to the mixing water as part of the mixing water.

3.The temperature of the cement entering the concrete mixer must be less than 40℃.

4.Considering the large loss of slump in construction, a certain amount of water reducer and fly ash can be added to replace some cement to reduce the amount of cement.

5.The hopper, water storage device, belt conveyor, mixing tower, etc. of the concrete batching plant are equipped with awnings to avoid exposure to the sun, and at the same time, the concrete can be produced by using low-heat cement.

6.During production, mix the concrete in the shed or at a low temperature or at night to ensure that the concrete into the mold temperature is not higher than 30°C.  When transporting, transport by concrete tank truck to minimize the transportation time, but it is strictly forbidden to add water during transportation.
