Concrete measures to optimize the mix ratio of high performance concrete

Construction industry is a part closely related to people's life and production process.  Based on the basic characteristics and properties of concrete under the requirements of green and high performance

Green high-performance concrete has four main characteristics: workability, high strength, high durability and environmental protection.

(1) Machinability. Workability is the main characteristic of high performance green concrete. Green high-performance concrete has a dense and uniform structure, suitable for mixing, transportation, pouring, vibration and other raw material structure, we need to ensure that no segregation, seepage, stratification and other problems will occur on the concrete.

(2) High intensity. A good fit ratio has a decisive effect on the strength of concrete. Raw materials such as cement and hardening porosity have an important influence on the strength of cement concrete when it comes to the mix ratio of concrete components. Therefore, when designing concrete mix ratio, the mix ratio of water and cementitious material is an important index to calculate in concrete mix ratio. In addition, the early strength of concrete is not the overall strength of the concrete, the external environment causes the concrete to crack and affect the durability.

(3) High durability. The durability of concrete structure includes frost resistance, alkalinity resistance, permeability resistance, carbonization resistance, the permeability of chloride ions and erosion resistance, so the high durability of concrete can ensure the reliability of the whole structure of concrete structure.

(4) Environmental protection. Environmental protection function refers to the combination of green environmental protection concept and high performance concrete, which can save energy and resources, and is the comprehensive embodiment of environmental protection and sustainable development.

Under the same conditions, the amount of cement in green high-performance concrete is less than that of ordinary concrete, and the amount of mineral admixture is larger, which can reduce the consumption of resources and pollution, in line with the modern concept of energy conservation and environmental protection.

Mix ratio design principle

The application effect of ordinary cement concrete is getting worse and worse. The application of high performance concrete is becoming more and more important. The design of mix ratio is usually mainly based on the calculation of ordinary concrete mix ratio, in essence, this is to optimize and improve the mix ratio of ordinary concrete, this work includes many aspects, such as the use of admixture, water flow control, sand consumption, water and binder mix ratio.In addition, the mixture ratio design must fully integrate its various characteristics and strictly comply with the relevant principles. First, the principle of compaction of concrete must be , which means that the volume of concrete in the plastic state is equal to the volume of the concrete components in the compact state. Secondly, when calculating the mixture ratio, the principle of reasonable proportion of water and binder must be observed. As the ratio of water to binder increases, the strength of concrete may decrease. This content is very important to ensure the strength of concrete, and the principle of minimum cement content must be observed.
