The metering system of concrete mixing plant determines the proportioning accuracy of various concrete materials. First, it may be the problem of the scale. After the installation of batching plant, the calibration of measuring scale is not done well. Moreover, the accuracy of the correctly calibrated scale will still deviate after being used for a period of time, so the scale should be checked and calibrated regularly.


Secondly, it may be caused by improper installation of weighing scale.


Third, it may be sensor failure.


Fourth, it may be the error caused by material flow. This is also the most common reason. This is because during the weighing process of materials, when the materials in the weighing hopper reach the set quantity value, there is a certain mechanical delay due to the closing of pneumatic or electric valves, which will cause some materials to rush past due to inertia and increase the consumption of materials, resulting in more measurement results than the weighing standard. For this error, we suggested that when the material in the weighing hopper is about to reach the set value, the valve should stop feeding and start inching feeding. The setting of point momentum should be set according to the allowable error range and the actual blanking speed.
